Reunion Cup Guidelines


Reunion Cup Trip Organization:

-Guidelines for selecting a location

  • The annual invitation list is to include previous golfers; set the due date for commitment for each year in order to plan for additional invites if necessary
  • The initial funds collections should be in the range age of $100 to $150 to cover the general funds, trophy updates, website license, Par-3 Closet To the Pin (CTP) contest and any required hotel/resort deposits.
  • Target golf and lodging to be in a range of $700 and $950; the preferred room accommodations are townhouses or villa condos over hotel rooms and large houses with limited room (bedrooms/beds, bathrooms).
  • Target a Thursday to Saturday event with optional golf on the Wednesday before the Reunion Cup and/or golf on the Sunday after the Reunion Cup.
  • Target the third full weekend in July for the annual trip, thus matching the same week/weekend as the British Open golf major championship.
  • Target four (4) golf rounds, with a maximum of five (5) golf rounds
    • ​For four (4) golf rounds, use 18-36-18 daily format
    • For five (5) golf rounds, use 36-36-18 daily format
